Description

This homemade donut recipe that I present to you here is a recipe for baked donuts without egg, without milk, without butter, and with brown sugar. They are very tasty, easy, and quick to prepare vegan donuts that are even more irresistible with a cocoa topping, maple syrup, and coconut oil.

Ingredients
  • 350 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1,5 tablespoon baking powder (Royal type)
  • 50-70 grams brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1,5 cup soy vegetable drink
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • donut mold
Instructions
  1. Step 1

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: the sifted flour, brown sugar, yeast, and salt. In another container, mix the liquids: vinegar, vanilla essence, oil, and soy drink. Place the liquid ingredients in the dry bowl and stir until completely mixed.

  2. Step 2

Set the oven to 180ºC and place the dough for this easy donut in the donut/donut mold - it will be easier if you use a piping bag.

  3. Step 3

Bake the donuts in the oven at 180°C for 12-25 minutes or until they rise and start to brown. Then remove, unmold and let cool.

  4. Step 4

Prepare the chocolate donut frosting by placing the cocoa, coconut oil, and maple syrup in a bowl. Mix well, taste, and add more maple syrup if you like.

  5. Step 5

Take the donuts and dip half in the chocolate cream , as in the photo. Leave for 60 seconds, so they absorb some of the creams, and remove carefully. Decorate your donuts with wheat flour to taste and set aside for a few minutes in the fridge, so that the chocolate coating is hard. Ready! Now you know how to make healthy donuts without animal ingredients.

Note

In decorating my donuts I used only walnuts and chopped peanuts, a delicious and healthy option.

Using the donut mold is essential in this recipe, as the dough is soft and you cannot shape it into a donut shape.

If you want, you can change the soy drink for oat drink, almond drink, rice drink, among other vegetable drink options.
